Diaz Puicon, Katherinne Cristhel; Olano Rivas, Evelyn Lizeth
diseño no experimental longitudinal.
una estructura más heterogénea.; The purpose of this research was to determine the underlying factors that explain the
behavior of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) categories in the Lambayeque region during the
period 2010–2021, through the application of factor analysis. The research is a quantitative,
applied, descriptive study with a longitudinal, non-experimental design. The population and
sample consisted of the monthly CPI records for the eight consumer categories in Chiclayo
over a period of 144 months. Descriptive statistics and factor analysis were used for the
statistical processes. The main results were that Food and Beverages had the highest average
index (128.136), and that Transportation and Communications had the greatest dispersion of
the index (SD = 15.387). For the indices of the eight divisions, a KMO of 0.892 and a
significant Bartlett's test (p < 0.001) were obtained, identifying a factor with an eigenvalue of
7.712 that explained 95.91% of the variance. In the variations, Housing Rental, Fuel, and
Electricity were excluded because they presented an MSA of 0.419, and two factors were
obtained that explained 30.13% of the extracted variance. It was concluded that the indices
exhibit a predominantly unidimensional factor structure, while their variations show a more
heterogeneous structure.

Lizana Arteaga, Meriyen Sadith; Santamaria Santamaria, Yeny Yaneth
entorno familiar.; This research aimed to determine the factors associated with childhood obesity in children
under 5 years of age in Lambayeque, using data from the 2023 National Demographic and
Health Survey (ENDES).
The research adopted a quantitative approach, with an observational, cross-sectional, and
retrospective design, as it analyzed previously collected data without direct intervention on the
variables studied.
The sample consisted of 684 records of children under 5 years of age residing in Lambayeque.
Statistical analysis employed association tests (chi-square) and binary logistic regression
models to identify sociodemographic and maternal factors associated with childhood obesity.
The results showed an obesity prevalence of 6.0%. Among the variables that showed a
significant association were the mother's educational level, area of residence, socioeconomic
level, maternal obesity, anemia, and the child's age. Furthermore, the regression model
indicated that having a mother with a secondary education, maternal obesity, and the absence
of anemia increase the likelihood of obesity, while older age and certain socioeconomic levels
were associated with a lower probability of this condition. The model showed a pseudo
Nagelkerke R2 of 0.286 and an AUC of 0.727, indicating moderate predictive capacity.
It is concluded that maternal characteristics, socioeconomic conditions, and certain individual
factors significantly influence the occurrence of obesity in children under five years of age.
These findings highlight the importance of implementing comprehensive prevention strategies
that consider the social, economic, and educational factors present in the family environment.

Tarrillo Hernández, Ruth Mireyla; Vilchez Orlandini, Luz Alicia
817.4497, BIC = 829.9456, Ljung-Box Q = 24.172 (p = 0.3383). Se concluye que el modelo
estimado es adecuado para describir y pronosticar la dinámica mensual del limón en el Perú.; The objective of this study was to estimate a model to forecast monthly lemon
production in Peru using the Box-Jenkins methodology for the period from January through
December during the years 2010–2025. The study employed a quantitative, non-experimental,
and longitudinal approach. The sample consisted of lemon production data in Peru, expressed
in thousands of metric tons, obtained from the BCR.
The results showed that the model that best forecasts lemon production was a SARIMA
(1,0,0) (0,1,1)12 model, which had ar1 = 0.7542 and sma1 = -0.8550, with AIC = 817.4497,
BIC = 829.9456, and Ljung-Box Q = 24.172 (p = 0.3383). It is concluded that the estimated
model is suitable for describing and forecasting the monthly dynamics of lemon production in
Peru.
