Awajún el aprendizaje de la tercera lengua –el inglés– que responde a necesidades del mundo
globalizado, TIC y la aldea global, convirtiéndolo al docente en participe de los conocimientos
socialmente construidos y culturalmente organizados. The Future Awajún teachers do not study English; We investigated how the application of the
Let's Learn English Language Workshop contributed to the writing of English in Awajún
students, to verify that the application of the Let's Learn English Language Workshop
contributed to the writing of English in Awajún students, actions such as: identify the level of
English writing in Awajún students through a pre-test; apply a workshop called Let's learn
english language for Awajún students, assess the level of English writing in Awajún students
intervened through a post test and compare the results obtained in the pre and post test, stating
that the study hypothesis was favorable Because the Awajún students learned to write words,
idioms, phrases and simple sentences in English, which will serve as a basis to continue
improving themselves in order to function properly in a globalized world. Allowing to
recommend to the authorities, residents and Awajun-speaking students, that learning the
English language is neither harmful nor an instrument of domination; it only breaks with
beliefs, cognitions, feelings, relationships, values, principles, norms, rules, ancestral and
cultural customs that for some years was considered limiting, humiliating, taxing and an
instrument of domination of American culture. On the contrary, the learning of the third
language - English - responds to the needs of the globalized world, ICT and the global village,
serving the teacher to deal with it later and becoming a participant in socially constructed and
culturally organized knowledge.
