Efecto de la suplementación de L-carnitina sobre el comportamiento productivo de cerdos (sus scrofa domesticus) en etapa de acabado

Abstract

La realización de esta investigación tuvo como fin observar la acción de la L- carnitina en el comportamiento productivo en cerdos en etapa de acabado; este proyecto se realizó en una granja familiar “Los buenos Díaz” que está ubicada en el distrito de Mochumí, departamento de Lambayeque, 2023. El diseño usado fue completamente al azahar (DCA). La investigación se obtuvo a partir del uso de 48 cerdos en fase de finalizado iniciando a los 110 días de vida de los mismos, distribuidos en 4 grupos homogéneos con 4 tratamientos diferentes, separados en 4 corrales, 12 cerdos por corral; su dieta alimenticia fue a base de alimento balanceado cuya formulación fue brindada por la misma granja. Los cerdos fueron sometidos a una alimentación controlada, cuyos tratamientos fueron identificados de la siguiente manera, T0, T1, T2 Y T3 con suministro de L-carnitina de 0 mg/kg, 25 mg/kg, 50 mg/kg y 75 mg/kg de alimento respectivamente. Para el suministro de concentrado se utilizó comederos lineales de concreto, también se le suministró agua ad libitum a través de chupones. La investigación se realizó en base del control directo de los pesos (iniciales y finales) individuales de los cerdos. Finalizando la duración del experimento pudimos observar que el resultado más óptimo fue para el tratamiento T3 (36.191 Kg) con diferencia no significativa (p>0.05) en relación a los tratamientos T2 (35.552 Kg), T1 (34.236 Kg) y T0 (32.240 Kg). Según los resultados obtenidos, el mejor mérito económico lo obtuvo T2 (S./6.11) seguido de T3 (S./6.12), T1 (S./6.23) y en último lugar el mérito económico más bajo fue para T0 (S./6.48). Con esto se demostró que se logra un mayor mérito económico con una dosis de 50mg de L- carnitina /kg de alimento. Concluimos que no hay diferencia significativa entre los distintos tratamientos con respecto a los pesos finales.

For the supply of concentrate, linear concrete feeders were used, and water was also supplied ad libitum through suckers. The investigation was carried out based on the direct control of the individual weights (initial and final) of the pigs. Concluding the duration of the experiment of this investigation, we observed that the most optimal result was for treatment T3 (36,191 Kg) with a non- significant difference (p>0.05) in relation to treatments T2 (35,552 Kg), T1 (34,236 Kg) and T0 (32,240 kg). According to the results obtained, the best economic merit was obtained by T2 (S./6.11) followed by T3 (S./6.12), T1 (S./6.23) and finally the lowest economic merit was for T0 (S./6.48). With this it was demonstrated that a better economic merit is obtained with a dose of 50mg of L-carnitine/kg of food. We conclude that there is no significant difference between the different treatments with respect to the final weights.
