Categorías de la sistematización del cuidado enfermero en centro quirúrgico del Hospital Regional Lambayeque, 2023

Abstract

Objetivo: Describir las categorías que emergen de la sistematización del cuidado enfermero en centro quirúrgico del Hospital Regional Lambayeque, 2023; siendo el objeto de estudio las categorías que emergen de la sistematización del cuidado; que lo constituyen los aspectos cualitativos que se originan de la organización de los cuidados que reciben las personas en el servicio de centro quirúrgico. Metodología: cualitativa, con enfoque estudio de caso. Se aplicó la entrevista previamente validada por muestreo piloto, la muestra estuvo conformada por 8 enfermeras, la misma que se delimitó por saturación y redundancia. En todo momento se aplicaron y respetaron los principios éticos. Resultados: los datos se trataron por análisis temático generando tres categorías: Cuidado al paciente en el preoperatorio donde destaca la comunicación enfermera – persona, con la finalidad de valorar las necesidades que se encuentran afectadas del paciente, Cuidado al paciente en el intraoperatorio donde brindan cuidados manteniendo la seguridad durante la cirugía, teniendo a la persona, el material y quirófano preparado y la tercera categoría humanización de los cuidados al paciente en el postoperatorio donde realizan una valoración integral, abarcando el aspecto físico, emocional y familiar del paciente. Consideraciones finales: A través del presente estudio se devela el cuidado de la enfermera en centro quirúrgico, espacio donde ellas favorecen la confianza, y el cuidado integral, a través de un trato humano y digno, viendo a la persona en su integridad cuidando su interioridad y exterioridad, proporcionándole cuidados específicos para evitar complicaciones.

Objective: To describe the categories that emerge from the systematization of nursing care in the surgical center of the Lambayeque Regional Hospital, 2023; the object of study being the categories that emerge from the systematization of care; which constitute the qualitative aspects that originate from the organization of the care that people receive in the surgical center service. Methodology: qualitative, with a case study approach. The interview previously validated by pilot sampling was applied, the sample consisted of 8 nurses, which was delimited by saturation and redundancy. Ethical principles were applied and respected at all times. Results: the data were treated by thematic analysis generating three categories: Patient care in the preoperative period, where nurse-person communication stands out, with the aim of assessing the needs that are affected by the patient; Patient care in the intraoperative period, where they provide care while maintaining safety during surgery, having the person, the material and the operating room prepared; and the third category, humanization of patient care in the postoperative period, where they carry out a comprehensive assessment, covering the physical, emotional and family aspect of the patient. Final considerations: Through this study, the care of nurses in the surgical center is revealed, a space where they promote trust and comprehensive care, through humane and dignified treatment, seeing the person in their integrity, taking care of their interiority and exteriority, providing specific care to avoid complications.
