Cuidado enfermero al recién nacido hospitalizado en un hospital del MINSA de Chiclayo 2024

Abstract

Objetivo: caracterizar el cuidado enfermero al recién nacido hospitalizado en un hospital del MINSA de Chiclayo 2024. Método: investigación cualitativa de tipo estudio de caso. La muestra, delimitada por saturación, fueron 11 enfermeras y ocho madres que participaron en la entrevista abierta a profundidad. Además, se observó el acto de cuidado y analizó los registros de enfermería. Los instrumentos se validaron por juicio de expertos, a través del Coeficiente de Validez de Contenido. El muestreo fue no probabilístico por casos tipo y por conveniencia. Resultados: se encontró cinco categorías: Priorizando la satisfacción de las necesidades biofísicas del recién nacido hospitalizado; Enfocado en la ejecución de intervenciones para el abordaje de las necesidades psicofísicas; Orientado en la religiosidad para satisfacer las necesidades intra/interpersonales; Dificultado por la carencia de insumos para el cuidado de las necesidades biofísicas y psicofísicas; Limitaciones para el cuidado de las necesidades psicosociales del recién nacido hospitalizado. Conclusiones: el profesional de enfermería prioriza las necesidades biofísicas según la condición del neonato, asimismo, el registro del proceso enfermero a menudo es incompleto debido posiblemente a la sobrecarga laboral. Por otro lado, resaltan limitaciones como la escasez de insumos, infraestructura inadecuada y horarios restringidos para la visita del RN, por lo que, mejorar la formación continua, el uso de taxonomías y los recursos son clave para ofrecer un cuidado integral.

Objective: to characterize the nursing care of the hospitalized newborn in a MINSA hospital in Chiclayo 2024. Method: qualitative case study research. The sample, delimited by saturation, was 11 nurses and eight mothers who participated in the open in-depth interview. In addition, the act of care was observed and the nursing records were analyzed. The instruments were validated by expert judgment, through the Content Validity Coefficient. The sampling was non-probabilistic by type cases and by convenience. Results: five categories were found: Prioritizing the satisfaction of the biophysical needs of the hospitalized newborn; Focused on the execution of interventions to address psychophysical needs; Oriented on religiosity to satisfy intra/interpersonal needs; Difficultized by the lack of supplies for the care of biophysical and psychophysical needs; Limitations for the care of the psychosocial needs of the hospitalized newborn. Conclusions: Nursing professionals prioritize biophysical needs according to the newborn's condition. Likewise, the record of the nursing process is often incomplete, possibly due to work overload. On the other hand, limitations such as the shortage of supplies, inadequate infrastructure and restricted hours for the RN visit are highlighted. Therefore, improving continuous training, the use of taxonomies and resources are key to offering comprehensive care.
