Abstract

El cuidado enfermero es de vital importancia en el control de crecimiento y desarrollo del niño, debido a que en este ciclo del niño se evalúa de una manera integral que nos permite identificar riesgos o alteraciones en esta fase tan importante de la vida. La presente investigación de tipo cualitativa con enfoque de estudio de caso, tuvo como objetivo general: Comprender y analizar el cuidado enfermero a niños menores de 2 años durante el control de Crecimiento y Desarrollo en el Hospital rural Nueva Cajamarca. La muestra se delimitó por saturación y redundancia de los discursos; constituyéndose por 6 enfermeras que laboran en el servicio de control de crecimiento y desarrollo. Se aplicó una entrevista semiestructurada a profundidad, teniendo en cuenta los criterios de inclusión y las consideraciones éticas y de rigor. El análisis temático permitió develar tres categorías: Categoría I.- Iniciando el cuidado enfermero: como subcategorías: I.1.- Tratando con empatía a la madre y al niño. I.2.- Recogiendo datos significativos del niño. I.3.- Verificando el entorno del niño. I.4.- Cuidando la privacidad. Categoría II.- Brindando cuidado enfermero al niño: como subcategorías: II.1.- Ejecutando la evaluación física. II.2.- Ejecutando la evaluación psicomotora. II.3.- Ejecutando la evaluación nutricional. II.4.- Evaluación del esquema de vacunación. Categoría III.- Brindando cuidados preventivo promocionales: como subcategorías: III.1.- Cuidados en nutrición para prevenir deficiencias nutricionales. III.2.- Cuidados en higiene y aseo. III.3.- Cuidados en estimulación. III.4.- Cuidados en la prevención de riesgos de accidentes.

Nursing care is of vital importance in the control of growth and development of the child, because in this life cycle the child is evaluated in a comprehensive way that allows us to identify risks or alterations in this important phase of life. This qualitative research with a case study approach, had as its general objective: Understanding and analyzing nursing care for children under 2 years of age during Growth and Development control at the Nueva Cajamarca Rural Hospital. who work in the growth and development control service. An in-depth semi- structured interview was applied, taking into account the inclusion criteria and ethical

and rigorous considerations. The thematic analysis revealed three categories: Category I.- Initiating nursing care: as subcategories: I.1.- Treating mother and child with empathy. I.2.- Collecting significant data on the child. I.3.- Checking the child's environment. I.4.- Taking care of privacy. Category II.- Providing nursing care to the child: as subcategories: II.1.- Executing the physical evaluation. II.2.- Executing the psychomotor evaluation. II.3.- Executing the nutritional evaluation. II.4.- Evaluation of the vaccination scheme. Category III.- Providing promotional preventive care: as subcategories: III.1.- Nutritional care to prevent nutritional deficiencies. III.2.- Care in hygiene and cleanliness. III.3.- Stimulation care. III.4.- Care in the prevention of accident risks.
