Conocimiento de las madres sobre loncheras saludables para preescolares en una Institución Educativa, Chiclayo 2024

Abstract

Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento de las madres sobre loncheras saludables para preescolares en una Institución Educativa, Chiclayo 2024. Método: de tipo cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, corte transversal y descriptivo. La población conformada por 364 madres de preescolares, la muestra de 188 participantes. Mediante la encuesta y un cuestionario validado se recolectaron los datos. Resultado: el 43.6% de las madres tienen un nivel de conocimiento alto sobre las loncheras saludables, el 56.4% entre medio y bajo. La dimensión generalidades presentó nivel medio con 29.3%, nivel bajo 21.8%, y el 48.9% nivel alto. En el conocimiento sobre contenido de las loncheras el 17.0% representó nivel bajo, el 45.3% medio y el 36.7% alto. En el conocimiento de la higiene al preparar las loncheras el 27.7% alcanzó nivel bajo, el 62.8% nivel medio y el 9.6% nivel alto. El conocimiento que tienen al preparar las loncheras el 2.1% de las madres obtuvo nivel bajo, 18.1% nivel medio y el 79.8% alto. Conclusión: El conocimiento que tienen las madres de la Institución Educativa sobre loncheras saludables para preescolares no es satisfactorio, hay una tendencia de ser de nivel medio a bajo. Requiriendo ser fortalecido.

Objective: To determine the level of knowledge of mothers about healthy lunch boxes for preschoolers in an educational institution, Chiclayo 2024. Method: quantitative, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and descriptive. The population consisted of 364 mothers of preschoolers, the sample of 188 participants. Data were collected by means of a survey and a validated questionnaire. Results: 43.6% of the mothers have a high level of knowledge about healthy lunch boxes, 56.4% between medium and low. The general dimension presented a medium level of 29.3%, a low level of 21.8%, and a high level of 48.9%. In knowledge of the contents of lunch boxes, 17.0% represented a low level, 45.3% medium and 36.7% high. In knowledge of hygiene when preparing lunch boxes, 27.7% reached a low level, 62.8% a medium level and 9.6% a high level. In terms of knowledge about preparing lunch boxes, 2.1% of the mothers obtained a low level, 18.1% a medium level and 79.8% a high level. Conclusion: The knowledge that the mothers of the Educational Institution have about healthy lunch boxes for preschoolers is not satisfactory, there is a tendency to be medium to low level. It needs to be strengthened.
