Actitud del profesional de enfermería frente al fallecimiento del paciente en el área de emergencia del Hospital General de Jaén -2021

Abstract

Objetivo: Determinar las actitudes del profesional de enfermería frente al fallecimiento del paciente en el Servicio de Emergencia del Hospital General de Jaén – 2021. Método: Investigación cuantitativa, no experimental, de tipo descriptivo. La población fue de 30 profesionales de enfermería del Servicio de Emergencia. Se aplicó una escala de Likert elaborado por Hernández et al. en Perú, validado y con una confiabilidad de 0,828 por Alfa de Cronbach. Resultados: La actitud del profesional de enfermería frente al fallecimiento del paciente fue mínima (43,3 %). La dimensión cognitiva fue mínima (73%), al igual que la actitud conductual (47%) y afectiva (46,5 %). Conclusiones: Las enfermeras carecen de actitudes frente a la muerte del paciente en el Servicio de Emergencia del Hospital General de Jaén. The cognitive dimension obtained an absent level (73%), as well as the behavioral attitude (47%) and affective (46.5%). Conclusions: Nurses lack attitudes towards the death of the patient in the Emergency Service of the General Hospital of Jaén.
