Complejo Arquitectónico Sostenible: Hotel 4 Estrellas y Centro de Convenciones, para reforzar la infraestructura del turismo receptivo en la ciudad de Chiclayo

Abstract

Reconocer el potencial turístico de Chiclayo implica también evidenciar las limitaciones que enfrenta, como el déficit de infraestructura hotelera y de espacios para eventos, factores que restringen el crecimiento del turismo receptivo pese al auge turístico del Perú en los últimos años. El propósito de esta investigación fue proyectar un Complejo Arquitectónico Sostenible, conformado por un Hotel de 4 estrellas y un Centro de Convenciones, que responda a las necesidades del turismo receptivo en la ciudad de Chiclayo, fortaleciendo así el desarrollo económico y mejorando la oferta de servicios turísticos. Según la finalidad del estudio, este proyecto de tesis se basa en una investigación aplicada, ya que se analiza la oferta y demanda en infraestructura hotelera y de reuniones en la ciudad de Chiclayo , con la finalidad de formular una propuesta que minimice el problema planteado, así mismo según el enfoque de estudio , se realizó una investigación con un enfoque mixto ,permitiendo la recopilación de información cuantitativa y cualitativa mediante el análisis estadístico del turismo regional , estudios de antecedentes similares y la observación del entorno urbano. Los resultados de la investigación revelaron que la ciudad cuenta con una escasa oferta de hoteles categorizados, lo cual afecta la calidad del servicio y reduce la estadía promedio de los turistas. Asimismo, se identificó la inexistencia de infraestructura adecuada para eventos corporativos e internacionales. La propuesta arquitectónica resultante integra criterios de sostenibilidad, revitalización urbana y calidad de espacios. Este proyecto no solo busca mejorar la estadía del turista, sino también dinamizar la economía local y posicionar a Chiclayo como un destino turístico competitivo.

Recognizing the tourism potential of Chiclayo also implies highlighting the limitations it faces, such as the lack of hotel infrastructure and event spaces, factors that restrict the growth of inbound tourism despite the tourism boom in Peru in recent years. The purpose of this research was to project a Sustainable Architectural Complex, consisting of a 4-star hotel and a Convention Center, that responds to the needs of inbound tourism in the city of Chiclayo, thus strengthening economic development and improving the offer of tourist services. According to the purpose of the study, this thesis project is based on applied research, since it analyzes the supply and demand for hotel and meeting infrastructure in the city of Chiclayo, in order to formulate a proposal that minimizes the problem posed, also according to the study approach, research was carried out with a mixed approach, allowing the collection of quantitative and qualitative information through statistical analysis of regional tourism, similar background studies and observation of the urban environment. The results of the research revealed that the city has a limited supply of categorized hotels, which affects the quality of service and reduces the average stay of tourists. Furthermore, a lack of adequate infrastructure for corporate and international events was identified. The resulting architectural proposal integrates criteria of sustainability, urban revitalization, and quality of space. This project not only seeks to improve tourist stays but also to boost the local economy and position Chiclayo as a competitive tourist destination.
