Sector agropecuario exportador no tradicional y el crecimiento económico de la Región de Lambayeque

Abstract

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo, determinar la relación entre el sector agropecuario exportador no tradicional y el crecimiento económico de la Región de Lambayeque, mediante una investigación descriptiva, documental, con enfoque cuantitativo y de diseño no experimental, en la cual la población estuvo conformada por el conjunto de datos de exportaciones no tradicionales del sector agropecuario y del Producto Bruto Interno del Perú, desde el año 2014 hasta el 2022, disponibles en el Banco Central de Reserva del Perú, Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática, Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo, entre otros. Tras la contrastación de la hipótesis de investigación, los resultados obtenidos reflejan que no existe una relación significativa entre el sector agropecuario exportador no tradicional y el crecimiento económico de la Región Lambayeque; sin embargo, respecto a la relación existente entre el sector agropecuario exportador no tradicional y el PBI de la región Lambayeque, se determinó un coeficiente de correlación de Pearson de 0.909; por lo que, existe una relación positiva muy fuerte entre las exportaciones no tradicionales del sector agropecuario y el PBI de la región Lambayeque para el periodo en análisis. En cuanto a la evolución del sector agropecuario exportador no tradicional en Lambayeque, este tuvo una tendencia creciente, y representó para el periodo 2014 al 2022, el 98.11% del total de exportaciones no tradicionales de Lambayeque; en lo que respecta a los productos agropecuarios de exportación no tradicional que están contribuyendo al Producto Bruto Interno de la Región Lambayeque, se identificó que existen 5 productos, los cuales son: arándanos, palta, uva, mango y jugo de maracuyá.

The objective of this work was to determine the relationship between the non- traditional export agricultural sector and the economic growth of the Lambayeque

Region, through a descriptive, documentary research, with a quantitative approach and

non-experimental design, in which the population was made up of the data set of non- traditional exports of the agricultural sector and the Gross Domestic Product of Peru, from

2014 to 2022, available at the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, among others. After contrasting the research hypothesis, the results obtained reflect that there is no significant relationship between the non-traditional agricultural export sector and the economic growth of the Lambayeque Region; however, regarding the relationship between the non-traditional agricultural export sector and the GDP of the Lambayeque Region, a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.909 was determined; therefore, there is a very strong positive relationship between non-traditional exports of the agricultural sector and the GDP of the Lambayeque Region for the period of analysis. Regarding the evolution of the non-traditional agricultural export sector in Lambayeque, this had an increasing trend, and represented for the period 2014 to 2022, 98.11% of the total non-traditional exports of Lambayeque; with regard to non-traditional agricultural export products that are contributing to the Gross Domestic Product of the Lambayeque Region, it was identified that there are 5 products, which are: blueberries, avocado, grapes, mango and passion fruit juice.
