Existencia y unicidad de uniformidad en espacios topológicos Hausdorff compactos

Abstract

La estructura de uniformidad en un conjunto es una herramienta matema ́tica que permite de- finir y estudiar la nocio ́n de proximidad o cercan ́ıa entre elementos del conjunto. Adema ́s,

una uniformidad genera una topologia en el conjunto generando asi un estudio topologico del

conjunto via uniformidad. Aprovechamos esta caracteristica para obtener la topologia pro- ducto. Ma ́s au ́ n, la uniformidad permite definir una uniformidad en el producto cartesiano del

conjunto y esto a su vez una topologia en el producto cartesiano, topologia que coincide con la topologia producto antes mencionada bajo ciertas condiciones.

Estudiamos tambie ́n si dada una topologia en un conjunto, se puede definir una uniformidad y que esta sea compatible con la topologia. Bajo las condiciones de Hausdorff y compacidad y tambie ́n con pseudome ́tricas definidas naturalmene por el espacio topolo ́gico se logro ́ obtener una uniformidad compactible con la topologia y aun ma ́s ser unica con dicha caracteristica.

The structure of uniformity in a set is a mathematical tool that allows defining and studying the notion of proximity or closeness between elements of the set. In addition, a uniformity generates a topology in the set, thus generating a topological study of the set via uniformity. We take advantage of this feature to get the product topology. Moreover, uniformity allows us to define a uniformity in the Cartesian product of the set, and this in turn allows us to define a topology in the Cartesian product, a topology that coincides with the aforementioned product topology under certain conditions.

We also study whether given a topology in a set, a uniformity can be defined and that it is compatible with the topology. Under the conditions of Hausdorff and compactness and also with pseudometrics naturally defined by the topological space, it was possible to obtain a compactible uniformity with the topology and even more unique with this characteristic.
