The study was carried out in the Callanca Population Center, Monsefú District, located at
Latitude South: 14°10'52" Longitude West: 71°08'26", at an altitude of 11 m above sea
level. The objective was to determine the effect of two biostimulant products on the yield
and quality of three celery varieties. Appropriate and timely agronomic practices were
applied. The study was based on a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with a
Split-Plot arrangement, with three replications. After analyzing the results, it was concluded
that: 1. The Kelvin variety combined with Promet Ca recorded the highest celery plant yield,
with 55.56 t/ha, higher than the other treatments. 2. The Kelvín variety performed better
when combined with the biostimulants than the Girisha and Vertran varieties. 3. The
biostimulant Promet Ca had a favorable effect, resulting in the highest yield of celery plants
(47.00 t/ha), exceeding the yields obtained with Packhard application (39.01 t/ha) and the
control without application (37.58 t/ha). 4. The Kelvin + Promet Ca treatment showed the
highest plant fresh weight (783.15 g). 5. The varieties showed a lower percentage of plants
with black heart when combined with the biostimulants; the Kelvin variety combination
with the biostimulant Promet Ca stood out (10.00%). The Vertran, Girisha, and Kelvin
varieties without application recorded higher percentages with 28.33, 25.67, and 23.33%.
