(antigüedad no mayor a 42 meses).
The objective of this research was to identify the factors that limit the incorporation of ventures
into the Special MYPE Regime in Lambayeque. The methodology employed followed a
quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. Based on an initial
sample of 384 micro and small enterprises, an exclusion criterion was applied, centering the
analysis on 280 early-stage ventures with an operational age of no more than 42 months.
Through a questionnaire, the factors that could influence the decision to join the special MYPE
regime were analyzed. The results determined that the factors with a statistically significant
association, ordered from highest to lowest intensity of incidence, are the perception of costs
and benefits, the impact of MYPE formalization, knowledge of labor aspects, knowledge of
tax aspects, cultural and social factors, bureaucracy and administrative procedures, and
economic and financial factors. On the other hand, the factors that do not statistically influence
the registration decision are the perception of market competitiveness and knowledge along
with the lack of general information about the special regime.
