The definitive study of the highway: Kilometer PE-5N 154+650.00 Linderos-
Caserío La Unión, Namballe district, San Ignacio province, Cajamarca Region, has a
length of 23.34 km.
The project was designed at the level of affirmation with a thickness of 0.20 m,
however, due to the existence of sections that present CBR < 6% (insufficient subgrade),
the stabilization of the subgrade is proposed through the replacement of soils, changing
the 0.35 m thickness of the existing stratum with of 6" material.
In addition, to guarantee the surface drainage of the road, 44 drainage works have
been planned (24 speed bumps, 20 culverts), and 1 bridge with a span of 13 m.
It is essential to consider that to guarantee the functionality of the project, an
Environmental Impact study was carried out, which was developed taking into account all
the environmental components that could be affected, and their mitigation based on
current regulations and experiences acquired in civil engineering.
This definitive study will serve to define the technical details, designs, costs and
the possible impact of the road infrastructure on the quality of life of the population in a
future execution.
