| es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | The present research addresses the underutilization of cultural and creative industries (CCI) in the Lambayeque region, as well as the lack of empirical studies on their impact, a problem stemming from information asymmetries and institutional dissemination barriers. Given this scenario, the general objective was to determine the influence of the cultural and creative industries on the social well-being of the Lambayeque region in the year 2026. Methodologically, the study was guided by a mixed approach with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design. For the quantitative component, a standardized survey was applied to a random sample of 384 citizens from the urban EAP, while for the qualitative aspect, semi- structured interviews were conducted with 20 key actors in the cultural sector. Likewise, the econometric analysis was conducted using an ordered logit model (ologit) in STATA, employing perceived happiness as an approximate variable for well-being. The overall results demonstrated a high predictive fit (Pseudo R^2 = 0.5657, p = 0.0000), confirming that ICCs significantly influence the social well-being or perceived happiness of the population of Lambayeque. Specifically, it was found that an increase in cultural participation (ParticICC) multiplies the probability of achieving a higher level of perceived happiness by 2.56 times, while spending (GastoICC) raises it by 2.12 times. Finally, the triangulation revealed the "paradox of cultural consumption": despite culture boosting social well-being, 70.32% of the population is excluded due to ignorance caused by information asymmetry. | es_PE |
