This research was conducted in Motupe, Lambayeque, Peru, between December 27,
2022, and December 13, 2023, to determine the control efficacy of ten products on the
Oligonychus sp. population, which can be used in organic agriculture in avocado cultivation.
Three trials were conducted: the first was carried out on marked leaves on plants with
medium infestation, with 4 replications, on each leaf the individuals per square inch were
counted. This trial allowed adjusting the dose of the least effective products. In the second, 4
plants that constituted an experimental unit were marked, and four replications were
conducted. In these two trials, the evaluation was carried out: 1 day before application; 2, 4,
and 7 days after application. The three best treatments were chosen to conduct a third trial.
This used an area of 0,6 hectares per treatment, with five replications. In this case, no
difference was found between the treatments: Crops Canela (Cinnamon Oil) 150 ml/cil, Zitrik
acaros (Lemon Oil) 200 ml/cil and Crops Deter (Fatty acids and potassium detergent) 100
ml/cil, which were the most viable for organic farming.
