Desarrollo del aprendizaje colaborativo usando la técnica Jigsaw y la plataforma Examtime en estudiantes de la escuela de administración turística, Universidad de Lambayeque

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como problema, en qué medida la aplicación de una propuesta didáctica usando la técnica JIGSAW y la plataforma Examtime influye en el desarrollo el aprendizaje colaborativo en los estudiantes que cursan la asignatura gestión del conocimiento de la Escuela de Administración Turística de la Universidad de Lambayeque. La cual tiene como objetivo diseñar, implementar y evaluar una propuesta didáctica que integre la técnica Jigsaw y la plataforma Examtime para mejorar el aprendizaje colaborativo en los estudiantes cursan la asignatura gestión del conocimiento. Para diagnosticar el problema se aplicó un pre test validado a los estudiantes, teniendo en cuenta los siguientes criterios: habilidades colaborativas, habilidades de compresión, habilidades de liderazgo y habilidades de pensamiento crítico. El presente estudio se aplicó a los 24 estudiantes del séptimo ciclo de la carrera profesional de Administración Turística. Los resultados del pre test mostraron que los estudiantes tienen un nivel bajo a medio en las cuatro habilidades mencionadas anteriormente, demostrando deficiencias en el proceso colaborativo impidiendo que los estudiantes consigan un desarrollo eficiente y satisfactorio. Luego de analizar los resultados, se aplicó una propuesta basada en la técnica JIGSAW de Aronson, para mejorar el proceso del aprendizaje colaborativo y con el soporte de la plataforma virtual Examtime para mejorar su aprendizaje de contenido. Los resultados del post test mostraron que los estudiantes pasaron a un nivel alto en relación al manejo de sus habilidades del aprendizaje colaborativo. Se concluye como logros de investigación, haber confirmado la hipótesis de la naturaleza del problema y haber matrimoniado la base teórica con la propuesta de desarrollar el aprendizaje colaborativo en los estudiantes de dicha institución universitaria.

The problem of this research work is to what extent the application of a didactic proposal using the JIGSAW technique and the Examtime platform influences the development of collaborative learning in students taking the knowledge management subject of the School of Tourism Administration of the University of Lambayeque. Which aims to design, implement and evaluate a didactic proposal that integrates the Jigsaw technique and the Examtime platform to improve collaborative learning in students taking the knowledge management subject To diagnose the problem, a validated pre-test was applied to the students, taking into account the following criteria: collaborative skills, comprehension skills, leadership skills and critical thinking skills. The present study was applied to the 24 students of the seventh cycle of the professional career of Tourism Administration. The results of the pre-test showed that the students have a low to medium level in the four skills mentioned above, demonstrating deficiencies in the collaborative process that prevent the students from achieving an efficient and satisfactory development. After analysing the results, a proposal based on the JIGSAW technique of Aronson was applied, to improve the process of collaborative learning and with the support of the virtual platform Examtime to improve their content learning. The results of the post-test showed that the students moved to a high level in relation to the management of their collaborative learning skills. It is concluded as research achievements, having confirmed the hypothesis of the nature of the problem and having married the theoretical basis with the proposal to develop collaborative learning in the students of that university institution.
