Calidad del servicio educativo y satisfacción de los padres de familia en una I.E.P. de Chiclayo

Abstract

Esta investigación tuvo como propósito principal determinar la relación que existe entre las variables calidad de servicio educativo y satisfacción de los padres de familia de una I.E. Privada de Chiclayo aplicando el modelo SERVQUAL. El estudio se realizó bajo un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo aplicativo, con un nivel descriptivo, correlacional, y diseño no experimental transversal. La población estuvo conformada por los 698 padres de los tres niveles educativos. La muestra estuvo representada por 103 padres de familia. La técnica fue la encuesta, y el instrumento un cuestionario para cada variable. Los resultados obtenidos en el análisis descriptivo, en relación al nivel de calidad de servicio educativo de la I.E.P. arrojaron una prevalencia de 77% en nivel alto, y el nivel de satisfacción de los padres de familia presentó un 73% también en un nivel alto. Los resultados obtenidos a través de Rho de Spearman revelaron un valor rho= 0,879 y un p-valor de 0,000, menor al umbral establecido de 0,05. Se concluye que entre la variable calidad de servicio educativo y la variable satisfacción de padres de familia existe una correlación positiva significativamente alta.

The main purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the variables of quality of educational service and satisfaction of the parents of a private school in Chiclayo by applying the SERVQUAL model. The study was conducted using a basic

quantitative approach, with a descriptive, correlational level, and a non-experimental cross- sectional design. The population consisted of 698 parents from the three educational levels.

The sample was represented by 103 parents. The technique was the survey and the instrument was a questionnaire for each variable. The results obtained in the descriptive analysis in relation to the level of quality of educational service of the I.E.P. They showed a prevalence of 77% at a high level, and the level of satisfaction of parents was also at a high level of 73%. The results through Spearman's Rho revealed a rho value = 0.879 and a p-value of 0.000, lower than the established threshold of 0.05. It is concluded that there is a significantly high positive correlation between the variable quality of educational service and the variable satisfaction of parents.
