| es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | This research falls under Sustainable Development Goal 7, specifically target 7.3, which aims to improve energy efficiency through the incorporation of clean technologies and smart systems. In this context, the overall objective of the study was to design smart networks to improve the efficiency of public lighting in the city of San Ignacio during 2024, proposing a technical solution based on the integration of LED technology, presence and light sensors, ESP32 microcontrollers, and remote monitoring systems, in order to optimize energy consumption and service operability. Methodologically, the research was applied, with a non-experimental design and a quantitative approach supported by qualitative data. A technical diagnosis of the existing system was carried out, evaluating infrastructure, energy consumption, lighting levels, and maintenance. Likewise, a smart grid model was designed and simulated, validating its operation through operational tests and comparative energy efficiency analyses. The results showed that the current system is dominated by conventional sodium vapor lights, high energy consumption, and limitations in control and monitoring. The smart proposal optimized lighting and regulation through adaptive control and real-time data recording, demonstrating technical feasibility and significant energy savings potential. It was concluded that the design of smart networks is a technically, economically, and environmentally viable alternative for modernizing public lighting in San Ignacio, improving its energy efficiency, and contributing to sustainable urban development. | es_PE |
