Relación entre habilidad investigativa y gestión descriptiva de datos en VII ciclo de secundaria en una institución educativa privada, Chiclayo

Abstract

Desde la perspectiva analítica del estudio, se logró evidenciar en los estudiantes de VII ciclo de una institución educativa privada de Chiclayo, deficiencias en cuanto a las habilidades investigativas y la gestión descriptiva de datos, motivo por el cual la tesis planteó como hipótesis que “existe relación positiva y significativa entre la habilidad investigativa y gestión descriptiva de datos en VII ciclo de secundaria en una institución educativa privada, Chiclayo”. La metodología seguida correspondió a un estudio con enfoque cuantitativo, siendo de tipo y diseño correlacional, habiendo trabajado con 90 estudiantes de tercero cuarto y quinto de secundaria; se utilizó un cuestionario de habilidades investigativas con 15 ítems (con fiabilidad de juicio de expertos Alfa de Cronbach=0,96) y cuestionario para la medición de la gestión descriptiva de datos con 12 ítems (con fiabilidad de juicio de expertos Alfa de Cronbach=0,90) y confiabilidad a nivel de ítems (KR20=0,91 para gestión descriptiva de datos), cuenta con validez de V de Aiken=0,97 para habilidad investigativa y para gestión descriptiva de datos V de Aiken=1. Los resultados dan cuanta de 86,6% de brecha (-) para habilidad investigativa y 50% de brecha (-) para la gestión descriptiva de datos y con p = 0.000 < 0,05 correlación significativa entre habilidad investigativa y gestión descriptiva de datos en nivel positiva moderada (Rho = 0.641). Se infiere que es posible fortalecer las habilidades investigativas y gestión descriptiva de datos en los estudiantes con la promoción de trabajo integrado, generando cultura investigativa.

From the analytical perspective of the study, it was possible to evidence deficiencies in research skills and descriptive data management in students of VII cycle of a private educational institution in Chiclayo, which is why the thesis hypothesized that “there is a positive and significant relationship between research skills and descriptive data management in VII cycle of secondary school in a private educational institution, Chiclayo”. The methodology followed corresponded to a study with a quantitative approach, being of a correlational type and design, having worked with 90 students of third, fourth and fifth year of high school; A research skills questionnaire was used with 15 items (with expert judgment reliability Cronbach's Alpha=0.96) and a questionnaire for measuring descriptive data management with 12 items (with expert judgment reliability Cronbach's Alpha=0.90) and reliability at item level (KR20=0.91 for descriptive data management), with validity of Aiken's V=0.97 for research skills and for descriptive data management Aiken's V=0.1. The results show 86.6% gap (-) for research skills and 50% gap (-) for descriptive data management and with p = 0.000 < 0.05 significant correlation between research skills and descriptive data management at a moderate positive level (Rho = 0.641). It is inferred that it is possible to strengthen research skills and descriptive data management in students with the promotion of integrated work, generating research culture.
