| es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | In recent years, school motivation has become one of the most determining factors in the academic performance and emotional well-being of secondary school students. In institutions such as Cristo Rey School, located in the district of José Leonardo Ortiz – Chiclayo, this reality is particularly evident among third-grade secondary students, section A, who show difficulties in maintaining interest and active participation in classes. The methodology corresponds to a descriptive/propositional type of research. The general objective is to propose musical strategies to improve the motivation of students at Cristo Rey School, district of José Leonardo Ortiz – Chiclayo, 2025. The results showed that, among the 24 students of the third grade of secondary education, section “A”, low levels of motivation predominate across its different dimensions, according to the data obtained through the observation checklist and questionnaire. In the self-efficacy dimension, 58% of the students did not achieve an adequate performance; in value-expectancy, 75%; in achievement goals, 79%; and in motivational regulation, 54%. These findings indicate that most students have difficulties in trusting their abilities, valuing learning, setting academic goals, and sustaining their effort during activities. Overall, these results reveal significant weaknesses in student motivation, which negatively affect their participation, interest, and commitment in the teaching-learning process, making it necessary to implement musical strategies to strengthen these dimensions and improve their attitude toward learning. | es_PE |
