El aprendizaje en el área de matemática en estudiantes del nivel de secundario de la I.E. Antonio Raimondi, 2024

Abstract

El objetivo principal de la tesis fue “determinar el nivel de aprendizaje en el área de matemáticas entre los estudiantes de primer grado de secundaria en la institución educativa Antonio Raimondi”. La investigación se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, empleando un diseño básico de tipo descriptivo. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 35 estudiantes de primer grado de secundaria, seleccionados de manera censal. Para la recolección de datos, se utilizó un cuestionario, que permitió evaluar diversas dimensiones del aprendizaje matemático entre los estudiantes. Los resultados obtenidos indicaron que un gran porcentaje de los estudiantes se encontraba en un nivel bajo de aprendizaje, con un 58% de la población total en esta categoría. Además, un 37% de los estudiantes alcanzó un nivel regular, mientras que un porcentaje menor se encontraba en niveles superiores. Se concluyó que, en general, el nivel de aprendizaje de los estudiantes en esta área es preocupante, lo que resalta la urgencia de intervenir para elevar el rendimiento académico y fortalecer las competencias matemáticas de los estudiantes de primer grado de secundaria en la institución educativa Antonio Raimondi.

The main objective of the thesis was to evaluate the level of learning in the area of mathematics among first-grade high school students at the Antonio Raimondi educational institution. The research was developed under a quantitative approach, using a basic descriptive design. The sample consisted of 35 first-grade high school students, selected by census. For data collection, a checklist was used, which allowed evaluating various dimensions of mathematical learning among students. The results obtained indicated that a large percentage of students were at a low level of learning, with 58% of the total population in this category. In addition, 37% of students reached a regular level, while a smaller percentage were at higher levels. It was concluded that, in general, the level of learning of students in this area is worrying, which highlights the urgency of intervening to raise academic performance and strengthen the mathematical skills of first-grade high school students at the Antonio Raimondi educational institution.
