Método Singapur para el aprendizaje de álgebra en estudiantes de 1 grado de secundaria I.E. “Túpac Amaru” – Tumán, 2023

Abstract

La presente investigación se basó en el estudio del Método Singapur y el aprendizaje del algebra en estudiantes de una institución educativa, dado que es de vital importancia determinar los factores que intervienen en los niveles de aprendizaje de los estudiantes; por ello, se tuvo por objetivo general, implementar el Método Singapur para la mejora del aprendizaje de álgebra de los estudiantes de 1 grado de secundaria I.E. “Túpac Amaru” – Tumán, 2023. La metodología se basó en un enfoque cuantitativo y diseño experimental, el instrumento fue un cuestionario que midió el nivel de álgebra en los estudiantes, por medio de la técnica de encuesta; la muestra constó de 34 estudiantes de 1 grado de secundaria de la sección A para el grupo de experimentación y 34 estudiantes de la sección B grupo control.; se precisó una confiabilidad por alfa de Cronbach de 0.751. El resultado del pre test dio a conocer el nivel de “inicio” de aprendizaje de álgebra de los estudiantes del 1er grado “A” y “B” con más del 60%, y aproximadamente el 20% se encuentran en el grupo de “en proceso”; mientras que en el pos test, se obtuvo en el grupo experimental un nivel de “logrado” con 41.2%. Se concluyó que, con la implementación del Método Singapur considerando las etapas concreto, pictórico y abstracto se conoció tras el post test, un notable progreso en la sección de 1er grado “A” debido a que fue el aula experimental, donde la mayoría de los estudiantes alcanzaron niveles "En proceso" y "Logrado" en el aprendizaje del álgebra.

The present research was based on the study of the Singapore Method and the learning of algebra in students of an educational institution, since it is of vital importance to determine the factors that intervene in the students' learning levels; therefore, the general objective was to implement the Singapore Method for the improvement of algebra learning in students of 1st grade of secondary school I.E. “Túpac Amaru” - Tumán, 2023. The methodology was based on a quantitative approach and experimental design, the instrument was a questionnaire that measured the level of algebra in students, by means of the survey technique; the sample consisted of 34 students of 1st grade of secondary school of section A for the experimental group and 34 students of section B control group; a reliability by Cronbach's alpha of 0.751 was specified. The result of the pre-test showed the “beginning” level of algebra learning of the students of the 1st grade “A” and “B” with more than 60%, and approximately 20% are in the “in process” group; while in the post-test, a level of “achieved” was obtained in the experimental group with 41.2%. It was concluded that, with the implementation of the Singapore Method considering the concrete, pictorial and abstract stages, it was known after the post test, a remarkable progress in the 1st grade section “A” due to the fact that it was the experimental classroom, where most of the students reached “In process” and “Achieved” levels in the learning of algebra.
