“Sara A. Bullón”. | es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | The research aimed to improve the oral expression in English of fourth-year secondary school students through the implementation of a teaching resource based on educational songs, called “Sing & Learn English,” focused on strengthening vocabulary, grammar pronunciation and fluency. The study was developed using a quantitative approach, with an experimental design. A pre-test and a post-test were administered to an experimental group of 34 students selected through non-probability convenience sampling from a population of 216 students at the “Sara A. Bullón” school. The pre-test, post-test, and an oral expression assessment rubric were used as data collection instruments, and statistical processing was performed using SPSS software. The pre-test results showed a low initial level, with 88.2% of students at the beginner level; However, after implementing the proposed teaching approach, the post-test showed significant improvements, with 79.4% of participants achieving satisfactory levels between expected and outstanding performance, as well as relevant progress in fluency (70%), pronunciation (80%), vocabulary (70%), and grammar (90%). In conclusion, the use of songs as a teaching resource, developed through structured activities before, during, and after listening, along with constant feedback and the active participation of teachers and students, proved highly effective in comprehensively improving oral expression in English. | es_PE |
